Rather tall and lanky for his age, people can tell that Leaf is a bit of an odd duck just by looking at him. His red hair is just long enough to be a complete mess, and his green eyes always seem to be slightly glazed over. His posture is never quite relaxed, even when he slouches. Leaf always looks a little shabby, due to the quality of his clothes. Most of it is hand-me-downs from his many siblings, stretched-out t-shirts and frayed jeans, and an array of garments that seem to have been resewn together by Leaf’s own hands. The clothes are fully functional, but they are clearly sewn by an amateur, and the bright colors don’t match by most definitions of fashion. He likes to tie a homemade red cape around his neck, and his pockets are often filled with small toys like bubble fluid, yo-yos (though he’s never been able to get the yo back up) and finger monsters. By decree of his parents, Leaf has to wear a bright yellow helmet whenever he goes outside. |
To call Leaf strange would be a huge understatement. He is a severely distracted child, known to go off on complete tangents or space out altogether. His interests tend to gravitate around the various toys, pets, and pastimes he has, followed often by a display of said toys, pets, or pastimes if such is possible. Though his strange behavior can be off-putting and even irritating, he’s a very friendly boy under it all and just wants to make friends, though he’s never really had any; this is likely why he has the childish tendency to play with toys and animals so often. He can seem immature, but that comes from limited social interaction. He has a tendency to lick things. |
Abilities: Despite his seeming spaceyness, Leaf has been known to have sudden moments of brilliance; how he gets them is beyond even his own knowledge, as he seems to go into a bit of a trance when having them. He describes it as “I saw a light, and it was neat.” Unfortunately this ‘light’ tends to only show up in regard to spelling. Leaf also knows how to sew and likes to design his own clothes, and started a very small online business selling cat capes. However, his sewing skills are...amateur, at best. He’s also become quite self-sufficient recently, as he’s needed to become good at taking care of himself in the last several months. Weaknesses: All in all, Leaf is exceedingly human. He’s relatively unremarkable as far as physical strengths go. He is young and very easily distracted; it’s extremely likely he has a very bad case of Attention Deficit. |
